Walk along Dubai Streets with my companions

Away for a week to UAE  Dubai. What a trip i would say. Made me question my safety several times.

To start off. It was a 7 hours flight from Singapore to Dubai. It was so tiring on the plane. The flight was rather bumpy and there were turbulence from the beginning to the end and we had to put our seat belts on ALL the time. I wanted to go take a pee and the steward asked me to go back. Was so mad can. But come to think about it, i don't really wanna fly up and down in the toilet, do i? HAhA!
Landed in Dubai International Airport, man am i glad to get out of the plane. I watched 3 movies onboard.
Straight to our hotel, Crowne plaza and we saw Mcdonalds right next to it! So freaking happy! But it proves otherwise in a few days' time.
After checking in, despite it was already in the evening in Dubai, 2 of us decided to head on site to do a check on the construction.
Headed to Mac for dinner that night.
Rise and shine, walked our way to DWTC.
Their rotating doors which seems to be everywhere.
All we studied about the 7STAR hotel, the one and only, Burj Al Arab. Its a selfish hotel, don't allow entry only exclusive to guest and when we wanted to be their guest, a cocktail cost 150 dirhams, which is about SG$70++. Figured a photo is enough. Besides, we took more than 1. HA!
Here's another amazing building which we didn't quite bother. When told its the tallest building in the world, it was a few question marks in my head. HAHA!!! You figure out why.
Crown Plaza's lobby.
We had pasta from Coffee Bean twice. Wasn't very pleasant the 3rd time i walked passed it. Ha!
Singapore Pavillion, almost done-d.
There were food demo throughout the 4 days of the show, demo of Singapore Food, of course. They hired Singaporean/Malaysian chefs from The Alantis, Saffron. There are very nice people. It really feels good to meet people from our hometown in foreign countries.
Last day of the show, dressed casual, ready to wrap up the day.
Charles, one of the chefs drove us to The Palms, to Alantis, Saffron for buffet dinner.
Amazing appetizers. All the shells are fresh and after i ate the oysters, William told me, some of those are still alive and moving... I was like............................................. for a good while. HA!
These, no one can resist. Array of pretty cakes to choose from but too bad, my tummy just didn't have that much space.
We waited for the 3 chefs to knock off and headed off to Barasti. Pub along the beach. So cool can...
The night ended with this photo. Joey, Jesscy and me took a cab back. Had a real awesome night sleep. Joyous bout going home the next day.
Before our flight at 8.45pm that day, we got up early and went to shop some must-go places in Dubai.

First Stop: Gold Souk
Full of gold shops there but didn't buy any, not interested. But bought souvenirs back.
2nd Stop: Dubai Mall

That aquarium cracked after we took photos of it and water came gushing out while people are rushed off the vicinity. Not allowed to take photos.
3rd Stop: Mall of Emirates

Awesome fries!
Feeling so happy to see noodles finally instead of all the western food, but it tasted yucks... Hence, left 3/4 bowl untouched.
We went back to our hotel, and i sat there, watching TV then after a while, head to Airport and waited with some of our good exhibitors to come back HOME!

7 hours later, sleepless onboard, we touched down at 6.30am.

I'm glad i'm home.
Slept the rest of my day away. Its great to be HOME!
