Jetlag

I'm in Spain. Its early 8.30am now but the time in Singapore is 3.34pm.

I finally experienced Jetlag. I was so freaking tired at 7pm last night, because it was already 4am in the morning if i'm in Singapore. 15 hours of flight ain't no joke. My butt and neck was aching like hell. Good thing i did fell asleep.

The night sleep was ok, waking up once in a while.

The weather is cold here. I was shivering when i walked on the streets at 9pm in the night. Woah...

Our site wasn't set up yet when we arrived yesterday. Today, gonna go inspect again.

PS: I miss home so much now. I wanna go HOME! HAHAHA!!! 8 more days to go.

Ciao!

Preparation to leave again

Only seems like i just came back from Dubai, here i am, forcing myself to be prepared for Spain. Mixed feelings for this trip. I mean, I love Spain and  it has the place i've been yearning to go since FOREVER! Its really a rare chance for me to be able to go. I'm lucky.

Perhaps its because i just came back not too long ago and maybe my period isn't here yet (NOT HERE YET AND I'M FLYING), so i'm rather grumpy these couple of weeks. I admit. HAHA!!!

Don't really feel good leaving Singapore, leavig home. Even when i go to Darling's place for 4 or 5 days, i will miss home because i can't do things as freely as i want to. I dun wanna get robbed there, nor do i wanna come back in 2 pieces (CHOI!), leaving home SUCKs!

Anyway, my prep to leave hasn't been done completely. I haven't finish buying coats. I got one but that's just a backup coz the temp is too high there for me to wear this. So i need to get another thinner one. I'm still considering whether to buy boots. Haven't pack when its a 10-day trip.

I know i'm going to Hong Kong in Aug. But things are getting rather complicated coz seems to have lots of things to do but i dunno wad to do. HAHA! And Jesscy is in Bali now, no one to tell me wad to do, and how to go about doing it. But i came to terms with it, decided to let loss 1st because everything will be ok ok de.

Hee~

K, nothing much to do now. Heh Heh! Office ying ying...

Bye for NOW!

A penny of thoughts

Here's the deal. Sudden realisation that i've been living too real a life. You know, back then, it used to be not so much about what will happen tomorrow, what are the things you need to buy and all... It was always, relax and live each day as you want it.

6 months into working life (minus the 1st 2months), i'm starting to feel what most adult would call, "real life", because when i wake up everyday, i will think about what will happen in the office, what e-mail should i be expecting, what must i get ready for the next day. Everyday, its 9am to 6pm, this time limit my movements, limit my thoughts. And yes, this is being in the "Real Life".

No time to lay down on my bed and switch on my favourite CDs, little time to watch dramas, frequet visits to movie kind of also diminished because when i do have time, i will spend it with people, real human beings, and not alone. Its kind of sad. I let myself down.

I stopped loving myself as much as before.

I find myself getting really tired after an entire day of work, and thinks bout nothing, but dinner, bath and bed. HA! Pathetic.

This new year doesn't seem like a new year anymore, its already March. My days away from home seems like i'm not even in this world. I would come back home feeling like it was like i just flew off. Come to think of it, i actually liked it. Because after work everyday, i don't have to think about where to go next, its back to hotel and rest. Going to a place where most people don't know you, you can do things which you dun have to worry about familiar people seeing it. Its all about myself.

My family is becoming bigger. My brothers are getting married soon. Not sure when but at least they have their partners confirmed and chop, everything seems to be happening so fast. I can't catch up anymore. Have i got my partner confirmed?

Too young, they say? I can't really be bothered about that. I just wanna be happy, really happy, and love myself bit more.

My stubborness never changed, it has never went away, i am always holding on to things, not wanting to let go. Because I believe in it. So far.... I haven't regret anything i held onto.

I am so tired now. I want to take a break.

Flying Spain in a week's time. In between excited and not excited. Life is coming to a halt again.

I can't stop myself... I can't stop the world...

The last of Civic

Darling sold his Civic while i was in Dubai. That day was the last time we're on his car. Gonna missed it. He fixed all the original stuff back on the car. It feels so long ago...
Also, the last time he sped.
Then, we went to his Ah Gong place at Layang with the whole family.
This is an adorable photo.

While, i am looking forward to Toyota and not Honda anymore. I still like Honda lots. HAHA!!! But well, darling is the one paying for it so its still his ultimate decision.

No Civic for 2 weeks now... :(

Reunion Dinner with OUR family

The evening of 27 Feb, we had our own Reunion Dinner. It was darling's good treat. Can't help but day the food are GREAT!
2nd Lao of the day. I love CHINESE NEW YEAR!
Our lovely family shot. Ain't that awesome?
Its nice to finally have everything in place without having to worry one don't like the other or wadsoever crap. Life is awesome as a family, with the family. I wish this will go on forever and ever and ever.

新春团拜2010

One day after coming back from Dubai is the Association's Chinese new year luncheon which happens every year and we will invite all our members, affiliates and all related to us one way or another.

It happened at Grand Copthorne Waterfront. And i was forced out of my bed early 7.30am to doll up and all, then cab down by 10am. GoSh.
Council members' tag.
There are a few activities before the luncheon.
Like this. I don't know wad's the price for scoring a goal, and i realised my cam was going low batt.
Caricature was also done there. I got mine done. Hee~~~ Don't really look like me but she did capture all the details on me that day.
Can't miss this for CNY. Yu Sheng! YUm YuM fish!
The lunch ended with a joke from one of the councils but he didn't realised he cracked the joke. HAHA!!!
Looking forward to next year!

Walk along Dubai Streets with my companions

Away for a week to UAE  Dubai. What a trip i would say. Made me question my safety several times.

To start off. It was a 7 hours flight from Singapore to Dubai. It was so tiring on the plane. The flight was rather bumpy and there were turbulence from the beginning to the end and we had to put our seat belts on ALL the time. I wanted to go take a pee and the steward asked me to go back. Was so mad can. But come to think about it, i don't really wanna fly up and down in the toilet, do i? HAhA!
Landed in Dubai International Airport, man am i glad to get out of the plane. I watched 3 movies onboard.
Straight to our hotel, Crowne plaza and we saw Mcdonalds right next to it! So freaking happy! But it proves otherwise in a few days' time.
After checking in, despite it was already in the evening in Dubai, 2 of us decided to head on site to do a check on the construction.
Headed to Mac for dinner that night.
Rise and shine, walked our way to DWTC.
Their rotating doors which seems to be everywhere.
All we studied about the 7STAR hotel, the one and only, Burj Al Arab. Its a selfish hotel, don't allow entry only exclusive to guest and when we wanted to be their guest, a cocktail cost 150 dirhams, which is about SG$70++. Figured a photo is enough. Besides, we took more than 1. HA!
Here's another amazing building which we didn't quite bother. When told its the tallest building in the world, it was a few question marks in my head. HAHA!!! You figure out why.
Crown Plaza's lobby.
We had pasta from Coffee Bean twice. Wasn't very pleasant the 3rd time i walked passed it. Ha!
Singapore Pavillion, almost done-d.
There were food demo throughout the 4 days of the show, demo of Singapore Food, of course. They hired Singaporean/Malaysian chefs from The Alantis, Saffron. There are very nice people. It really feels good to meet people from our hometown in foreign countries.
Last day of the show, dressed casual, ready to wrap up the day.
Charles, one of the chefs drove us to The Palms, to Alantis, Saffron for buffet dinner.
Amazing appetizers. All the shells are fresh and after i ate the oysters, William told me, some of those are still alive and moving... I was like............................................. for a good while. HA!
These, no one can resist. Array of pretty cakes to choose from but too bad, my tummy just didn't have that much space.
We waited for the 3 chefs to knock off and headed off to Barasti. Pub along the beach. So cool can...
The night ended with this photo. Joey, Jesscy and me took a cab back. Had a real awesome night sleep. Joyous bout going home the next day.
Before our flight at 8.45pm that day, we got up early and went to shop some must-go places in Dubai.

First Stop: Gold Souk
Full of gold shops there but didn't buy any, not interested. But bought souvenirs back.
2nd Stop: Dubai Mall

That aquarium cracked after we took photos of it and water came gushing out while people are rushed off the vicinity. Not allowed to take photos.
3rd Stop: Mall of Emirates

Awesome fries!
Feeling so happy to see noodles finally instead of all the western food, but it tasted yucks... Hence, left 3/4 bowl untouched.
We went back to our hotel, and i sat there, watching TV then after a while, head to Airport and waited with some of our good exhibitors to come back HOME!

7 hours later, sleepless onboard, we touched down at 6.30am.

I'm glad i'm home.
Slept the rest of my day away. Its great to be HOME!
